As a broker, you spend a lot of time prodding customers to fill out, sign, and submit their applications, in addition to the time spent ensuring that applications are legible and complete. This process often entails numerous phone calls, voicemail messages, faxes, and email messages. And if customers go out for quote annually, that same painful cycle is repeated year after year. Brokers know as well as anyone that the current process is time-consuming, error-prone, and redundant—but it doesn’t have to be this way.

With eHealthApp, customers go to a web site branded with your company’s logo and web site and fill out the universal application online. Applicant data is then securely stored for as long as that customer remains with you. Data validation logic built into the software prevents applicants from skipping over questions—a submitted application is always complete and always legible.

Once the application is completed online, the applicant or group administrator can print out the final version, which looks identical to the universal application approved by the Department of Insurance. Of course, we’re confident that in the not-so-distant future, insurance carriers won’t want or need paper applications at all. At that time, we’ll be able to provide a data feed directly to the carrier, obviating the need for faxing or sending of applications. The result will be even quicker turnaround times for quotes and enrollment.
